TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I have been informed that Mr C B-Lynch is to be nominated for a UK National Award. As I know Mr Lynch professionally, I would like to highlight certain aspects that I am sure will help support the nomination.

In order to do so, it is necessary to briefly explain my personal experience.

My name is Mirella Francesca Bruno; I was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and I now live in Italy.

Unfortunately I have lived the very harrowing experience of six failed pregnancies, four of which characterized by missed abortions and two miscarriages, After consulting many gynaecologists and specialist in infertility in Italy (Policlinic Gemelli Rome), I decided to ask Mr Lynch for his opinion, before taking adoption into consideration. I was introduced to him by my brother who lives in Milton Keynes.

After examining all my medical treatment summaries, Mr lynch told me that my miscarriages were probably caused by a uterine displacement and he seriously recommended a ventrosuspension. Ventrosuspension was carried out at the Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes in June 2001 by a standard laparoscopic technique.

The reposition of the uterus allowed me to have, the following year an absolutely normal pregnancy.

On the 17 th of August 2002, I gave birth with out complications to my daughter, Francesca, in Italy. She weighed 6.7lb and was absolutely healthy and beautiful.

My husband and I will be forever grateful for Mr Lynch for his help and support but also for his significant contribution to the Italian gynaecological surgery.

I have enclosed photocopies of letter so you have a complete view.

I look forward to hearing from you for further information or inquiries.

Yours sincerely
